Great Warford Parish Council

Welcome to Great Warford Parish Council

Great Warford Parish Council is an elected body which is the first tier of local government and acts to represent the interests of the community.

The Parish Council consists of seven elected Parish Councillors who meet on a regular basis to determine what actions should be taken to promote and protect the interests of Great Warford residents.

Parish Councillors are elected every four years, however, there may be additional opportunities to join the Parish Council should a casual vacancy arise.  Parish Council elections and casual vacancies are advertised on the Parish Council notice boards and on this website.

Great Warford is a rural community set within the Green Belt between Alderley Edge and Knutsford. Beautiful countryside surrounds clusters of residential dwellings and businesses. Home to a Grade II* listed Baptist Chapel dating from 17th century, a public house, golf course, numerous horticulture and agricultural businesses and much more, Great Warford has lots to offer residents and visitors.
